Through his company, DrummerWeb, David Abitbol has, since 1994, designed websites and developed content for numerous corporate, educational, governmental and non-profit clients. He is also the co-founder of Jewlicious.com, a weblog devoted to Jewish life in Israel and abroad that has spawned a popular following amongst web-savvy Jews of all ages. Since 2005, Jewlicious has co-sponsored Jewlicious at the Beach, an annual conference on Jewish identity, with Beach Hillel of Long Beach, CA. David has led a total of 4 Taglit-birthright israel trips, 2 of them co-sponsored with Jewlicious. David is a graduate of Concordia University (Political Science, BA Hons, Cumme Laude) and Osgoode Hall Law School (LLB). He has also studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and McGill University. David has been interviewed by numerous media outlets including the Jim Lehrer News Hour, People, National Public Radio, The New York Times, The Globe and Mail and The Montreal Gazette. David has held leadership positions at numerous Jewish organizations including Hillel and the Canadian Jewish Law Students Association where he helped plan and implement inumerable conferences, fundraisers, parties and other activities.
