One in a Minyan: World Jewish Digest Picks "Ten to Watch"
Written by Esther
ten_stars.jpgWorld Jewish Digest named a new minyan--ten people to watch in the coming year. And one of them is compulsive project-founder Ariel Beery. In addition to his work as Editor and Publisher of PresenTense Magazine, Ariel is a contributor to BlogsofZion, and the co-founder of the PresenTense Institute for Creative Zionism (PICZ), which debuted in Jerusalem this summer. He's also involved with MavenHaven, and myriad other projects I'm probably not even aware of. Here's the list of the chosen among the chosen people. If you're looking for him in the Star of David illustration on the left, check the second inverted triangle from the bottom and look for the hair. So you heard the WJD. Watch him. Watch him so closely you make him paranoid. But hold on, because he's speedy. (For instance, in the time it took me to write this blog post, he and Aharon Horwitz have founded three more companies. What we need is RSS feeds of their brains. But that's another post.) Kol hakavod, Ariel!
