ROI Word Cloud

Now that the ROI Summit is over, we have a bit more time for some of the things we were hoping to accomplish prior to the Summit, such as the following experiment.

We had this idea of taking the text from the nearly 600 amazing applications we received, and pasting it into a tag cloud (a la Wordle.net). Wordle.net is an online tool that takes a bunch of text, finds the words that occur most often and automatically generates the common words into a word cloud, arranging the most frequently used words by size (the more often the word is used, the larger it appears).

There are a lot of points of interest, and lots of potential commentary. Anyone want to begin?

It's so nice to see at a glance, the deepest will of all of us.

I understand that we are looking for a new community for the Jewish people that is Israel World United (Global) Could it be achieved by work through ROI ?

I take once again the opportunity of this comment to thank everyone for their presence, and make me feel so good and proud inside my people.

I think true innovators aren't so much talking about innovation, they're making it happen. They're describing their innovations as related to ISRAEL and the JEWISH PEOPLE, offering NEW ideas for a UNITED WORLD wide COMMUNITY.

Good stuff, way to keep up the conversation post-summit.

(How do I register for the site? I'd love to talk to you guys about how to improve this thing.)

Esther Kustanowitz
innovation?
written by Esther Kustanowitz , July 15, 2009

Very interesting visual perspective on what ROIers are up to. I can't even see innovation (although I'm sure it's on there, it's not one of the big words). I'm tempted to extrapolate that ROIers don't necessarily always view their work as innovation for innovation's sake, that at the core, the work is Jewish, and about people and community. There are many other observations to make, no doubt.
